Features

Don't let your factory prop rod distract from all that power you've packed under the hood. Give your engine bay a clean, custom look with MRT Hood Struts for the 2015-17 Ford Mustang, featuring the Original, "No Drill" design.

Unlike other Hood Strut Kits in the aftermarket, the MRT Kit requires NO DRILLING for installation, meaning no holes drilled ANYWHERE. MRT Hood Struts easily install in 15 minutes or less from start to finish. The only tools required are a ratchet with 10 mm and 13 mm sockets. Because MRT designed this kit for the 2015-17 Mustang, there are no extra modifications to the vehicle. Components simply bolt on at OEM factory mounting locations.

Gas Cylinders in all MRT kits feature a black powder-coat finish. Several finish options are available for the Hood Strut Brackets. The standard bracket finish is a satin black powder-coat. To give your Mustang a personalized touch, upgrade to one of our many custom paint options. Select your custom paint option above or contact MRT at (734) 455-5807 to order. Please allow a 1-2 week lead time for custom painted brackets.

NOTE: THE MRT HOOD STRUTS ARE DESIGNED TO WORK WITH STOCK OEM HOOD. AFTERMARKET HOODS MAY REQUIRE DIFFERENT CYLINDERS. THE WEIGHT OF THE AFTERMARKET HOOD WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUPPLY YOU WITH THE APPROPRIATE CYLINDERS. PLEASE CONTACT MRT FOR MORE INFORMATION.
